Fuzigish
The ever notorious Fuzigish are releasing their 5th album 'Crazy Friends' and so I decided to go see the Ska Punk legends and catch up with Bass player, Malcolm King at their pre-launch party held at the one and only Rumours Pub. Its was a short and sweet visit but did I get down and dirty in the moshpit? Yes, of course!

How would your new album reflect you guys as a group at the current moment? Has the sound grown from where you started or does it represent the fist flying, dirt kicking shenanigans we all love?

Shenanigans...ha ha....there's always going to be shenanigans when Fuzigish is around. The album definitely has it's own sound, but it's still raw Fuzi at its core. We have gone back to our roots of just plugging in and playing. It's loud and fast like "Exploited & Distorted", but also has the care free spirit of "Skankers Union", but hey, you guys will have to decide if we've grown or not.....got older.....yes.

Fuzigish has always achieved a phenomenal live performance. How important is a live performance to bands career?

It is everything to us. Albums are one thing, but you need to top that when you play live. The new album sounds live, it sounds raw, its fast and fun just like our live shows.

This is your 5th album launch do you see familiar faces from when you began in the crowd today?

Yes, we see new faces all the time at shows, and we still see the guys that were slamming at our shows 15 years ago, and that's good because I'm not the only one with a grey beard.

And finally why the name “crazy friends”?

Simple, we're in a band of crazy friends, and at the shows we play to all our crazy friends - we're all crazy friends at the end of the day and it's that craziness that keeps us alive.

So come through to Bassline on the 19th October 2013 to see what the guys have in store for you. It will be a night full of you favorite Crazy Friends!
